    waltzmn: Although Anatol Rapoport's Strategy and Conscience is older, and somewhat more technical, than Ken Binmore's book on game theory, it is certainly simple enough for an interested layman, and it does a fine job of pointing out the ethical questions of game theory.     waltzmn: Game theory is a subject with a strong mathematical underpinning, but the basic idea of strategies and picking an optimal result requires very little math. It just requires a clear explanation. Which both these books provide, but they give different examples and have different emphases. Probably Binmore's book is better for the first-timer, but both are highly recommended as overviews; they complement each other.… (més)
