It is a cute story and helps the student to see how to count the ducks in the bottom of the page. ( ![]() A cute little story about a duck called Little Quack. Momma Duck goes out of the nest into the pond and convinces her children to follow her. All of them, at first, are afraid to do so. They fear the unknown. The last one to try is little Quack. And I am not going to give it away but I will say that this book does have a happy ending. I happen to like this book, as it is one that an adult should read to a young toddler at story time or at bed time. The pictures in it are nice and big for the child to follow along in. But the print is small, which is why I feel an adult should read this to them. The bonus I get with this version of the story is that it comes in two languages. English and Spanish. So, if the parent is Bilingual, this would be a bonus. The child gets two stories in one. This is an adorable book for pre-k and kinder students as well as, for parents at home. It's an endearing story of a mother duck gently encouraging her ducklings to come to the pond to learn to swim. It's a fun book to use for beginning to learn how to count and it has nice visuals to support counting. A mamma duck as five little ducklings, Widdle, Waddle, Piddle, Puddle and Little Quack and she teaches them to swim one day. They are all very scared and have never left their nest. As Mamma encouraged them to come join her on the water, they were all very scared and huddled close in their safe nest. Eventually Widdle, Waddle, Piddle and Puddle all got the courage one by one to jump bravely into the pond. They found that it was very fun and they loved the pond. Little Quack was still scared to leave the nest. As he hears his Momma and siblings calling for him to jump into the pond too, Little Quack takes his time. First he gets closer to the water and looks at it, then sniffs it and touches it with his foot. He debated it and then suddenly feeling just brave enough, just like his siblings had before him, he closed his eyes and ran into the water. Then all five of the babies and their Momma were in the water and they went for a swim together. Mama Duck and her five little ducklings, Widdle, Waddle, Piddle, Puddle, and Little Quack live together in a nice and soft nest. Soon the ducklings are old enough to begin swimming and Mama Duck is teaching them to get out of the nest. It is time to become independent and learn to swim. They were all scared. With mama duck’s positive encouragement and help from their siblings all 5 ducks learn to swim including the smallest one Little Quack. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
