I'm not a huge fan of time travel stories, they get too "Wibbly Wobbly". This one stayed fairly direct, but there was still a lot of struggle with characters & timelines. I still don't feel like Artemis is as fun of a character as he was when he was younger. ( )

Being that I'm not a fan of time travel stories, I didn't enjoy this book as much as I've enjoyed the other books in the series. Artemis has to go back in time to save a silky safaya lemur in order to save his mother from a fairy disease, spellology. Trouble is, 8 years prior, Artemis sold the last lemur to the Extinctionists and now no safaya lemurs exist. So Artemis and friends must face off against the younger version of himself.

I get that the author is going for teenage angst (Artemis is 14 even though 8 years have gone by due to other time travel situations in the series) and so the author wants to show all the crazy of teenagerhood, but still not as joyous and fun as the other books in the series were. ( )

This is the point where the series starts to go downhill. ( )

It was a great addition to the Artemis Fowl series that kept me reading all day long. It took me all of three days to finish reading it. ( )

A Artemis solo le queda una posibilidad: volver ocho años atrás y recuperar el cerebro de ese animal... Lectura recomendada de 9 a 14 años.
