This work challenges the idea that women are superior creatures in terms of honesty, communication and caring, in both the bedroom and boardroom. The author argues that women are not helpless victims, but can be devious, repressed and power-hungry. Using case histories to illustrate her points, she shows the darker, meaner side of women's supposedly supportive friendships, and the manipulations women employ in the office.
