First, I thought the photographs were a very important aspect of the story. It allowed the reader to understand what the text on each page was saying. For example, on pg. 14, it allowed the reader to see how the mechanics use wrenches to tighten and loosen nuts when working on cars. Next, I thought the bolded, chapter titles were important throughout the story. It let the reader understand what the text was going to be about for what they were about to read. For example, the three different chapter headings were Auto Mechanics, Tools They Use, and Car Safety. The glossary in the story allows the reader to understand words they may not know the definition to. This story has many text features occurring throughout the story. For example, the text features through the story include the index, table of context, glossary, etc. The main idea of this story is to teach the reader how an auto mechanic works and the important aspects to succeed as one.
