Han passat uns mesos desde la darrera aventura del Harry. La relació entre ell i la Murphy és tensa i per acabar-ho d'adobar Chicago està patint a les nits de lluna plena morts per atacs d'animals salvatges. Benvinguts a l'apasionant món dels homes llop!

En aquest llibre aprofondim una mica més en la personalitat i el passat d'en Harry Dresden al mateix temps que vivim una història plena d'acció amb girs i sorpreses cada poques pàgines. La història està ben filada i té un final que tanca de tot el cas però que ens deixa amb ganes de continuar la sèrie.
Molt recomenable pels que van quedar contents amb el primer llibre i pels que després de llegir-lo dubten de si continuar o no la saga. ( )
