It’s about a caveman who seems to want more from his existence than simple hunting and gathering. A million years of evolution in 64 pages! I found it insightful that the author never used the word “dinosaur” choosing instead to just refer to them as “animals.” It was a solid, leveled skill appropriate choice. ( )

Stanley finds caveman life miserable, so he improves upon it. The other cavemen hate his improvements and chase him away. When he saves them from the animals, they become open to seeing what he’s done. Not historically accurate, but a good message about liking people who are different. ( )
