An anthology which is a lyrical search for a man's heritage. One in the 'Australian Poetry' series a selection from the best in Australian poetry from new and established writers. The author was born in Macedonia and came to Australia as a child. He teaches mathematics at Victoria University of Technology. His two previous collections of poetry are 'The Blossom Vendor' and 'Offerings: Sonnets from Mount Athos'. His play, 'The Drought', won the 1993 Wal Cherry Award for the best playscript of the year. He has also written the novel 'Raising the Shadow'.
