This book uses famous paintings from very famous artists and constructs a math problem from the painting. This book ties together art and math. Each problem is written in a poem. This book could be a fun entry or exit ticket in the classroom to get students' brains thinking but nothing too challenging. This book focuses on grouping, which could be used when learning division. ( ) The author of this book uses poetry to introduce art and with that, certain influential artists and their pieces of work. With each new page comes a new artist and a new set of numbers to find with the images on the page. This book is interesting because it exposes students to older styles of art and makes it a fun challenge to find the sequesce of numbers and pictures on the page. This book contains pictures of grouped objects on each page and instructs the reader to find a number of different ways to combine the groups in order to reach a specified number. I like that the book engages the child in problem-solving tasks, but I think that children may find it difficult to remember which group combinations they already used, possibly resulting in unnecessary confusion. I also like that the book contains famous works of art and includes the artists name and the year in which the piece was created. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
