This book is appropriate for grades 3-4. There isn't a lot of reading but the words are would be to challenging for anyone who has not yet mastered reading. This book is about Kiki Kittie who has transformed into Fashion Kitty who is a popular girl in school. Her name is mentioned often in school publishing's, which she cuts out and puts in scrapbooks. Other kids in the school are not fond of her new popularity especially the other popular kitty Cassandra who now has to share the spot light with Kiki. The story is about how Cassandra evilness and tact's are trying to make Fashion Kitty not as popular. Fashion Kitty does not allow Cassandra's hate let it get the best of her and show how being the better and bigger person has a better out come.
Teachers could use this book to:
-teach about bullying and how the bully character never ends up in a good place.
-The class could make a mock graphic novel that has a similar structure to this book.
