I really enjoy the Reacher series, which is a careful choice of words. I don't "love" it, but think they are very good, well written and fraught with suspense, like a good action novel should be, albeit this one was slightly predictable. Usually I don't try to figure out what will happen in a book, I let the book lead me there, but suddenly, two thirds through the book, it just hit me, and yup, I had it pegged correctly. I like the Reacher character, he's fun, and action packed... Usually. This one was a little slow on the action, a lot more time spent on backstory and detective work, but the action came when it was needed. All in all, a quality book, and it seems, even though its a series, the books can also stand along well enough. Then again, itf you are reading the third one, you don't need me to tell you about it, you've already made your own decisions. ( )

One of the better ones in the series. After Die Trying, an antagonist that isn't a politically subversive boogyman is a refreshing change. ( )

Beautifully economical, tautly efficient and fast moving, both prose and storytelling. ( )
