Informació de l'obraThe Complete Works of Francis A. Schaeffer: A Christian Worldview (5 Volume Set) de Francis A. Schaeffer
![]() No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Francis Schaeffer was the greatest Christian philosopher of the twentieth century. His fully orbed understanding of the Christian world-view and Western societal evolution enabled him to see the coming Evangelical storm that we find ourselves in today. Almost thirty years after his death the man's insights are still timely and needed. This particular edition is paperback. While that may make them more economical from some folks, it makes them less durable. But without a hardback edition to purchase; take Schaeffer any way you can get him! I love the way Francis Schaeffer thinks and the way he makes me think. He makes clear what the dominant world-view is and why it conflicts with Christianity. He also helps show the way for Christians to walk and be light in the darkness without being overcome. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Schaeffer was not right on everything. He was very important to me because he was one the few major Christian writers or thinkers, back then, who said racism - black or white- was a sin. To this day that message has not been received in some areas of Christendom. Read him but with a grain of salt. If you want to understand the danger of evangelicals who don't think go look up Univ of Notre Dame Professor Mark Noll and read his "The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind". (
