The adorable story of a bull who is kind and gentle and sweet, and not what others expect him to be. I have loved this story since I was a child myself. ( ![]() Ferdinand the bull is brought to the fighting ring, but all he wants to do is smell the flowers. A peaceful bull in Spain just wants to smell the flowers his field, but when a bee sting sends him running, men decide to bring him to a bullfight in Madrid...where he steadfastly refuses to fight, instead preferring to smell the flowers in the ladies' hats. Ferdinand is returned to his field. A lovely story, beautifully illustrated, about a person who eschews violence in spite of both culture and social pressure, and how gentleness might be the very best thing of all. People, animals, and things are often judged by how they look or who they are. This happens to Ferdinand who doesn't like to play with the other bulls. He enjoys the simple things in life as he grows up. One day there was a mix up with a bee. When he ended up in a bull-fight, he was quite a disappointment. Ferdinand kept true to himself and still enjoys the simple things in life. Contingut aTé una guia del professor
Ferdinand likes to sit quietly and smell the flowers, but one day he gets stung by a bee and his snorting and stomping convince everyone that he is the fiercest of bulls. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
