Las niñas ya han pasado de curso. Tendrán problemas con una de las jefas de curso Elsa, que junto a Anna (las dos repetidoras) se encargarán de llevar el curso adelante. Llegan niñas nuevas como Gladys, una niña triste y apagada por causa de la enfermedad de su madre, muy buena representando y en los deportes; y Mirabel, que a principio de curso decide irse pero gracias a Gladys, de la cual se hace muy amiga, se queda. Además es muy buena música y deportista. Alison, como siempre adorará a su profesora de interpretación, la señorita Quentin, aunque al final tendrá una desilusión con ella.

En ny termin har börjat på S:t Clare - och ett nytt läsår. Tvillingarna Pat och Isabel och alla de andra flickorna från ettan har blivit andraklassare.
Redan första dagen talar deras klassföreståndare om för dem att i tvåan måste alla plugga ordentligt. Skoj och upptåg hör bara hemma i ettan. I början försöker till och med Bobby att uppföra sig väl, men allt eftersom tiden går får hon svårare att hålla sig i skinnet...

The digitalization of the book is a complete travesty. It has duplicate pages, sentences which trail off, and a wide variety of extraneous characters.

This is a real shame, since it cannot be expected that the target audience, girls 8-12, will find this a puzzle worth solving.

By all means, invest in the paper version! Hopefully, they will not have these problems! (

I thoroughly enjoyed this. I'm starting to get used to Blyton's writing and characterization and this is one of her best books - wonderful midnight feast, a play, and a great camaraderie between the girls. I'm really looking forward to reading the other books, she's got me quite hooked! (
