It was a good book but I thought Brian was rather stupid. ( ![]() This book was very nostalgic for me. I remember our librarian reading us this book so it held some special memories for me. It however, was much sadder and more emotional than I remember. A bit of a rollercoaster actually. I did enjoy it and it makes you realize how important basic survival skills are. No one ever thinks they will need those skills but you never really know what will happen. Great read and a great trip down memory lane. Thirteen year old Brian is on his way to Canada to see his father as his parents are now divorced. On the flight it is just Brian and the pilot. While on the way the pilot has a heart attack and dies while still in the air. With there being no one to fly it but himself Brian trys to do the best he can and trys to contact help. He lands it on a lake. After all of this happens he has survived but now he has to fend for himself on this island all alone. When I first read this book I couldn’t put it down. There were so many cliff hangers and action all throughout the book. Every part was exciting and it was fun trying to foreshadow what was going to happen next. The book always left me wanting more after each chapter. Pertany a aquestes sèriesBrian Robeson (1) Contingut a
