I really liked this book. This story was mostly about a little girl who is chatting with her mom. She asks how animals would kiss goodnight, which lead into the story "If Animals Kissed Goodnight." It's a great bedtime story. The big idea is imagination and curiosity. One of the reasons I liked this was because of the writing style.For example, "If animals kissed like we kiss good night, Giraffe and his calf would stretch their necks high and kiss just beneath the top of the sky." This was this is written is peaceful to me, which fits into the bedtime story category. I also like the a young girl is saying this and asking her mother. Another reason I really liked this book was because of the colors. There weren't very many colors, but the colors that were chosen we also peaceful and relaxing. For example, the main color of the book is blue. It's a relaxing blue that fits perfectly with the story, since the story is all about kissing goodnight. I really liked this book. ( )
