Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Mrs. Potter loves everything to be clean and tidy in her house. Her daughter Ermajean is just the opposite. Ermajean acts like a little piglet! Mrs. Potter always says she is going to turn into a pig if she keeps acting like one. One day a pig and Ermajean swap places and Mrs. Potter freaks out, only to find the real Ermajean playing in the mud. From then on out, Mrs. Potter finds out that playing in the mud is not as bad as she thought I thought this book was very cute. The plot was very simple, but it was so humorous. I would maybe use this in my classroom as a book for pleasure reading. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
Mrs. Potter keeps everything perfectly clean, except for her baby daughter Ermajean, who delights in being so messy that she seems to turn into a pig. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |

One sunny day, Ermajean and Mrs. Potter go off for a walk. As Mrs. Potter turns around to dust the picket fence, she leaves Ermajean alone. Ermajean gets bored so she climbs out her buggy and finds her way into the pig's mud pin. Then, a pig crawls into the buggy under the blanket. Mrs. Potter goes back to the buggy and walks off not knowing the pig is the buggy instead of Ermajean. When the pig squeals and gets uncovered, Mrs. Potter thinks Ermajean has turned into a pig. She runs off to tell the doctor, but the pig gets loose. She chases the pig back to the mud pit. Ermajean is found playing in the mud. When Mrs. Potter walks, in the mud, to pick up Ermajean, she realizes how nice the mud feels between her toes. They both play in the mud for a while.
Mrs. Potter house is always spotless, however, Ermajean and she both go play in the mud when it is nice and sunny outside.
The author, Root, kept the plot very simple. He included humor in the book, by making little Ermajean the opposite of Mrs. Potter. ( )
