Rachel Isadora is an amazing illustrator, using charcoals and soft yet detailed imagery to really illustrate the innocence of a child's mind. Rachael Isadora is just another author I would have equally loved to do an illustrator study on. She, again, follows simple, repeating text from page to page. In this case, it was "Peekaboo! I see..." which would be followed on the next page with a picture with a hidden object, which would be pointed out in the next page. The book finishes with something I find adorable in children's books, concluding, "Peekaboo! I see...", flipping the page and seeing the little girl and her stuffed animals staring out of the fourth wall and it says, "you!" I think Rachel Isadora's books are adorable and go right along with the grade level I hope to teach in the future when I'm in the classroom, Kindergarten. ( )

This is a cute bedtime story for young children. Overall, I really enjoyed the illustrations. I think they are colorful, realistic, and extremely cute. I do believe easy reads like this are crucial for young children at the beginning of their reading journey. It will help them learn and practice their reading. I would definitely recommend. ( )
