The Spanish words are woven throughout and are use to translate due to the context (the words are in italics though). The author and illustrator provide a short summary of their life and why they wrote this book. This would be great for primary readers.

The book uses Spanish throughout the book without explicit definitions. Instead you are able to determine the meaning from context clue and illustrations. The illustrations are my favorite part of the book. To me these picture give off a warm feeling, much like the father and son's relationship. ( )
