Not my favorite, but probably a good early reader. It was not nearly as good as The Reluctant Dragon, but the writing and style were simple enough for a second grader. (

Short, funny retelling of [b:The Reluctant Dragon|2190742|The Reluctant Dragon|Kenneth Grahame|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1347446178s/2190742.jpg|2196462] (the dragon is even named Grahame in honor of original author Kenneth Grahame). Kenny is a rabbit, which makes the whole thing cuter. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Alan Cumming and it is GENIUS. Many, many awesome accents and character voices. Highly recommended for kids as young as five. (
