Twelve-year-old Kermit and his friends Goggles and Croaker live in the swamp, but are curious about the world outside. When Goggles is taken by a pet shop owner, Kermit and Croaker must leave the swamp to find their friend before he is dissected by high school biology teacher Hugo Krassman. This direct-to-video movie lacks many of the features that make other Muppet works so good, like celebrity cameos, snappy wit, and heartfelt songs, and the only classic Muppets to appear are younger versions of Kermit, Statler, and Waldorf. In addition, I found the ongoing villainization of dissections and biology programs troubling. Nevertheless, there are some good bits, including a scene with an actor portraying a young Jim Henson and his dog Rolf (depicted by an actual dog, not by the Muppet). References to "The Muppet Movie" are present and add interest. This movie is probably most enjoyable for people with limited exposure to classic Muppets works, and is recommended for late preschool to second grades. ( ) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
Young Kermit is a curious, fun-loving frog who likes hanging out with his amphibious best friends. He loves the swamp, but wonders what lies beyond the tall marsh grass. When one of Kermit's friends gets nabbed by a pet store owner, Kermit leaps into action, leaving the swamp and racing to rescue his friend. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
