A winter strom brews outside the walls of the cave, and woodland creatures seek refuge from it within the cave. The story is comical and has a heartwarming ending. This book is helpful because it contains a very good message of inclusing everyone, and it tap into children's imagination through the talking animals. I would use this book in a way that after we read it, the students would get to dress up and act it out, I got to do this when I was little and I would love for my students to get to too. One by one, a whole host of different animals and birds find their way out of the cold and into Bear's cave to warm up.
