S'està carregant… If You Take a Mouse to the Movies (2000)de Laura Numeroff
![]() No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. I’ve never been a huge “Give a” fan. Some of the books are nice, but mostly not for me. I don’t care for the roundabout story. This edition is the special holiday edition that has craft ideas, recipes, and letters to Santa at the back. While I may not like this, I Know lots of kids who will. ( ![]() 00010922 This is a silly holiday story that children would love. The language is very clear and simple. The wording is not descriptive, instead the illustrations really speak for the book. The illustrations are very colorful and engaging, as well as easy to see and interpret. The book is very well paced with an even amount of writing on each page. The characters are not very developed, but they really don't have to be. This is a very cute surface level book that could be brought around the holidays to read to children before bed. The plot was simply telling a happy story about bringing a mouse to the movies, and how he will use the popcorn. The title is misleading, as the mouse does not experience the movie, but really likes the popcorn. I feel that I would not use this book in the classroom because it only caters to children who celebrate Christmas and not other holidays. I think the big idea of this story is to just bring holiday cheer. 5/5. This story starts with a boy taking a mouse to the movies. He then asks for some popcorn which makes him think about putting it on a christmas tree. Ultimately it is about a boy and a mouse celebrating the fun of decorating for the holidays. Just as in the other books by Laura Numeroff, the animal is always the main character and is always doing some human like things, therefore this can be seen as an animal fiction books. The pictures in the book are very detailed and intriguing. The colors are bright in this book, drawing the readers in. Children love reading this book, and it is a very good book for younger kids to read. I think this book is amazing and Laura Numeroff did a wonderful job. Taking a mouse to the movies can lead to letting him do other things, such as making a snowman, listening to Christmas carols, and decorating the Christmas tree. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
