Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. A mouse learns how to be brave. Sheila Rae confuses risk-taking with bravery and calls her sister names because she doesn't like to take risks or do things that Sheila Rae thinks are not scary. Sheila learns a lesson one day when the two sisters get lost and her little sister has to help them find their way home. Cute book for pre-K through 2nd grade. Could be used for a compare and contrast or cause and effect lesson. Sheila Rae is a little girl who isn't afraid of anything. She isn't scared of dogs, she walks backwards with her eyes closed, she steps on every crack in the sidewalk, and the dark doesn't frighten her. But, one day, Sheila Rae gets lost in her neighborhood, and it's her little sister Louise who comes to her rescue. The message of this story is that everyone gets scared sometimes and anyone can be brave. It's also a book about love and friendship between siblings. I think that younger children would find the characters and events in this book very relatable. The illustrations are playful and bright. I would recommend this book to kindergarten and first grade teachers, in particular. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
