For one, I thought the illustrations were helpful in setting the mood of the story. Each page had more than one cat drawn on it to show how with each task, the cats helped one another and nobody worked alone. I also liked the plot of the story. The story was about different tasks the cats took part in during the Thanksgiving celebration. Again, similar to the illustrations, the text was written to show the cats working together. In other words, for each task the story did not say “this cat,” but instead would say, “these cats.” Finally, I liked the language used in story. The story contained polite phrases such as, “please” and “thank you.” I think it is important for stories to exemplify the importance of manners. The big message of Thanksgiving Cats is that you should be thankful for the people in your life that help you. At the very end of the story, the cats all sit together and say “thank you” to one another. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
