Things get scary when something takes a bite out of Superman and it actually breaks the skin. After 52 not involving "The Trinity", it was good to see them together fighting some super powerful, earth-threatening bad guys. And the Horsemen were even cooler this time around since they were actual "ideas" rather than just physical creations. The best part was that Batman got possessed but was more bad ass than "Famine" because his "hunger" was stronger. ( ) This is one of those comic books that has no narrative reason to exist. You know, someone's like, "52 was popular, let's do a book with '52' in the title. People will buy it!" And the joke's on me, because I did buy it and I even read it, too. Even at six issues, though, this is pretty substanceless; the Four Horsemen were one of the less interesting aspects of 52, and I did not really desire to see them face down against Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Nothing of what made 52 work-- the rich tapestry that is the DC universe-- is present in this banal spin-off. Which is a shame, because Keith Giffen can do so much better! DC Comics Crises: « Previous in sequence | Next in sequence » I think I was supposed to known what the hell was going on, but, ah, I guess I missed some memos. I did read all four volumes of the 52 series, so I did sorta remember what happened with Black Adam and the country he destroyed, but in that series it seemed to be given a half of an issue so. Anyway, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are in the country and have the unfortunate task of trying to stop the Four Horsemen from taking over the world, gain (tried in the 52 series). Anyway. The art was solid and perhaps the fact that I seemed to have missed something was my fault. Although I have read the 52 series twice. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
