No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. really enjoyed the narrative flow and all the illustrations and first person narratives ( ) A comprehensive yet user friendly overview of the American Revolution. By combining concise writing with supporting illustrations and maps the author paints a clear picture of this most complicated war. Although the material is necessarily dense, the presentation is very well done, making for an interesting read for both the novice and history fan. Highly recommended. A well-written and illustrated history of the American Revolution that brings home just how perilous and fragile the American victory was. Washington suffered setback after setback, and there were many who doubted his ability. It was difficult for him to even hold on to his troops, who would often leave at harvest time or whenever it suited them. You'll be amazed at just how few troops fought in the major battles. There was no Civil War-scale bloodshed here. The critical role of the French Navy (once it decided to stop sailing around and actually do something) in the final victory is also made very clear. This book is highly recommended. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
