Does God have a perfect will for each Christian? Does it matter? Can you be absolutely sure of God's individual will for your life? Wonderful, well researched (and annotated) book on finding God's will. Most importantly, Mr. Friesen is generally very careful to cite Scripture on all points, which makes sense considering the subject (and yet, some authors miss this point in their handling of the subject). I would recommend this book to everyone without reservation. ( )

This book is part of my collection that really focuses in on Biblical Commentary more than anything else (including some well known authors in the theological world). All of these books haven't been read cover to cover, but I've spent a lot of time with them and they've been helpful in guiding me through difficult passages (or if I desire to dig deeper). ( )

Very thought-provoking look at what the Bible actually has to say about decision making and how to find God's will for your life. Probably will challenge what you believe about that. Highly recommended. ( )

I read this book in college many years ago at the recommendation of a professor. It had such a profound effect on me that if it had been the only book I read, college would have been worth the cost. ( )

Great book that labors through many issues about determining God's will. Its focus is that there is no individual will for my daily decisions that I should seek through feelings and impressions, but rather know God through the Bible and apply wisdom to follow Him. ( )
