This is fun story for children! We always asked, where do chicks come from? We know that it was from the egg in which lay by the hen. But before it was became a hen, it was a chick, so how did it goes? Very clever. The important thing also here is, how does the chick lived and developed inside the egg? Where in fact it was just a shell, round and no hole. Read this book and be amazed with the contents. ( )

This book accurately and clearly explains the life cycle of a chicken-- paying particular attention to the egg (its structure and various parts). Words like "membrane" and "albumen" are explained clearly and accurately. It also handles the topic of " egg fertilization" in an accurate and child-friendly way. This is one of the best books on the topic of chickens that I have used in elementary science. ( )
