Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. this series is definitely unfinished. I mean, where are the Brethern who had been so doggedly chasing the Darkyn. They were heard of, but not seen. I didn't see John Keller either. I was like "what? wait!) I feel let down. I will continue to the kyndred series to see if there are more resolutions hiding there Review for “Stay the Night” by Lynn Viehl This another in the series about the “Darkyn”. For those of you not in the know, vampires. As it turns out, Robin Hood became a vampire and a really good thief. Under cover FBI agent Chris Renshaw has no idea the man she is trying to catch is the legendary outlaw. Not my favorite in the series. Still advances the world in which these books are set. Some of my favorite characters also put on appearances. Still not the most stimulating book, the two main characters were to stiff and unreal. Lynn Viehl kept me entertained with this entire series and I was feeling a bit sad about reading this final book. Because while I read the books in this series pretty much back to back and it was nice knowing I another book waiting for me while it lasted. There was a little bit of everything in this last novel with pace moving at a fast clip with all the intrigue and thrills leading up to the end. For me, Stay the Night brought a somewhat feeling of closure with mixed feelings on the ending but it threads to the spin off series, the Kyndred. I enjoyed reading every one of the books in the Darkyn series, starting with If Angels Burn. I highly recommend it to those who enjoy stories that mix science, characters with true life flaws, personalities from past and a whole lot of paranormal, together. Perhaps this is partly because I love the Robin Hood mythology so much, and so I expected more of Robin's book? Perhaps I just didn't connect as much with Chris? I'm really not sure. I did enjoy it, however, and look forward to the universe continuing in the novels of the Kyndred. ( )
