S'està carregant… Les Rondalles del Bard Gallard (2008)de J. K. Rowling, Beedle the Bard
![]()
The tales of Beedle the Bard is a collection of stories written for young wizards and witches. They have been popular bedtime reading for centuries, with the result that the Hopping Pot and the Fountain of Fair Fortune are as familiar to many of the students at Hogwarts as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty are to Muggle children. A collection of background short stories that feel like they have been around forever. Rowling is violently transphobic. Her work can't be removed from her bigotry. Easily the best of the three Hogwarts Library books I collected, the tales are at turns funny, instructive, and imaginative. "The Hairy Heart" is rather gruesome, in the tradition of Edgar Allan Poe, so take from it that warning. But of course, we all know and love "The Three Brothers," upon which Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hangs. The commentary and footnotes by Albus Dumbledore are a plus. 4.5 stars. A re read for me. Love this one as much as I did when I first delved into this little gem of a book. Still read The Three Brothers with Hermoines (Emma Watson) voice in my mind
The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a Wizarding classic, first came to Muggle readers' attention in the book known as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Now, thanks to Hermione Granger's new translation from the ancient runes, we present this stunning edition with an introduction, notes, and illustrations by J. K. Rowling, and extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore. Never before have Muggles been privy to these richly imaginative tales. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
