Interesting take on Booth, confusing @ times a couple of slurs directed at the only two slurables that are PC to slur, the Roman Church and the Irish. ( )
This book reminded me a lot of Manhunt in that it looks at the Lincoln assassination through Booth's perspective (or at least, spins the focus entirely on him more so than anyone else). I learned a lot about Booth in the process of reading the book - some things that were surprising and other things that I already knew but were good to read about anyway. Recommended for anyone who is interested in history (and especially all that has to do with Lincoln). ( )
