The classic Volland edition of Mother Goose includes all the classic Mother Goose rhymes and the illustrations associated with each. The book itself seems a bit unwieldy for younger children to read themselves - it is purely a book of nursery rhymes without titles or plot. It's a great size for a small storytime as children can easily see the illustrations.

Lively and fun, these will introduce young ones to the world of cadence and rhyme so well known throughout the ages. In this version, the illustrator revives the ink and watercolor style of the original books. ( )

This is a classic from my childhood. It was given as a book to my family when I was born. It's still in great shape. ( )
