I started with volume three because the latter years of WWII are a grand interest of mine. I enjoyed the buildup and thorough presentation of EVERY detail buildings up to the conflict. I also found the details about the development of war-fighting weapons, mass killings methods and the influence of cultural attitudes for the war very informative.
