In the first book in the Cougar Falls series, Rachel Penny goes to the small town of Cougar Falls, Montana for the reading of her beloved late aunt’s Will and runs across a rude man in the local diner.
Burke Chastell desperately needs to know what Charlotte Penny stated in her Will. The town is in turmoil after her death and only Rachel can restore order by finding the missing totem. The problem is, Rachel knows very little about her heritage, and Burke is running out of time to save the town.
Rachel and Burke have instant chemistry. They’re fighting one minute and then lusting after each other the next. They’re both strong, likable characters. The sex scenes were scorching!
There’s a large cast of secondary characters, and I’m interested in reading more books in the series.

What an interesting town. Lots of possible stories that I wouldn't mind reading. I liked the relationship between Burke and Rachel. Their chemistry was off the charts but their back and forth banter really drew me in. (
