This is an important memoir for anyone to read, about the humans that built Silicon Valley. Jet pilots working on the ground for Lockheed, children timed to the hundredth of a second on swim teams, and orchards bulldozed for houses and churches. But the kids are just kids and they want the same spy toys that I wanted for Christmas. What grew from that? It is well worth a read. ( )
