I was not overly fond of this counting book, but there wasn't anything offensive about it. I think I just didn't appreciate the artwork - the illustrator used watercolors and then attempted to give some definition to them with harsh black outlines. It's probably just a personal taste issue - I didn't find them appealing.

But as a counting book - it's cute, it rhymes, it's got a memory element, it features sweet little forest creatures - what's not to like? ( )
