When I read this book, the only thought that immediately rushed in my brain was "water cycle for dummies". This book, even though written for little kids, is great for people who do not understand scientific terminology and processes. If you ever need a science lesson on the water cycle, the importance of water to life, the effects of rain (too little or too much), and where rain falls, read this book. It should be in every upper grade and higher learning teacher's repertoire for the students who do not understand layman's terms. They just need it broken down for them to understand it better. You might get that one tomorrow. lol ( ) Summary: This book describes water droplets, water cycle, and why we need rain using simple language. It discusses the different climates in the world and the amount of rainfall they each get. It even discusses the danger from excessive rain and drought. Personal Reaction: Excellent for younger grades to understand how it rains, and why it is important to our world. It even gives little experiments in the back of the book to better illustrate the water cycle. Very cute, colorful, and informative. Classroom: Use water, paper cups, plastic bags, and tape to illustrate a science experiment with the water cycle. Have students draw a picture that shows a fun thing that we can do in the rain or something that benefits from rain. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
