Great insight into what Bible study can (and should) look like. Very pracitical, brief examples of what he's proposing. Conversationally written, but still academically engaging. Would love to re-read in the future. ( )

Though it has been a while since I have read this book, one thing that I remember from this book is the list of principle books in the Bible which is convenient to have if someone is wanting to know what to read. These are books of the Bible that cover the history and messege of the Bible without being repetitious. ( )
