Lovely painted illustrations with interesting perspectives such as a birds eye view of the jetty, and split illustrations above and below the jetty. Fun to read aloud and quirky details in the illustrations for children to pour over (the parrot's exasperation is funny). Gecko Press - always an interesting book. ( )
