It is a poem book about their exciting trip and encounter with a bear who inadvertently unhitches their camper and they find themselves floating down a stream towards the waterfall. In the end all works out for the best and Mr. Magee and his dog return home safe and sound. The illustrations are very nice and colorful. ( ![]() bear ran into camper hitch and unhooked car from camper. Camper went into the water and got stuck on a rock. Bear saved them and pulled out of the water. This book has the ability to cater to the enjoyment of many types of students. I would love to utilize A Camping Spree with Mr. Magee in my future classroom because I know that it would easily entertain an entire classroom. The picture book includes captivating illustrations and cliffhangers until the plot is resolved. A rhyming pattern within the text allows readers to speed through the storyline with a catchy tempo. Overall, the book is imaginative, and it provokes thought in the minds of readers. A man and his dog go camping and things go awry when a hungry bear smells their marshmallows! This is a humorous story that uses rhymes in the text, making for a good readaloud. The illustrations are quite beautiful, especially the depictions of nature. That all being said, this book didn't quite have "it" for me. It's a perfectly acceptable title, just not one for which I feel passionately. 00000362 Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
