This book was offered by the author along with “Breakfast in bed” when I won the Goodreads giveaway of “Texas! Lucky” by this author.

Usually, i don’t read books like this, meaning that the action is fast paced, straight to the subject I mean.
It’s well written and easy to read.
Sometimes it felt like the something was off with the characters but as the plot thickens so do the characters.
There were times that I wasn’t feeling the supposed passion and the love, it just felt wrong.
But past half of the book we find a way to connect with the main characters and enjoy their romance…it can get spicy. It's a nice book to read on vacation. (

I enjoyed it, the characters were fun, however I lost interest around the last thrid of the book. I didn't think there needed to be as many scenes of them getting together as there was. Had she kept it down to a few then it would have gained another star. (

I'm not a fan of romance novels but I am a fan of Sandra Brown. However, I only lasted until page 115 because I couldn't take it anymore with the love talk/foreplay. It was too much and unrealistic.

I didn't really dig it.. it nice but not so good, it is like you are gonna know what will happen, Sloan is gonna marry her leading man even if he is meant to marry her best-friend... I am happy they made it, but it is very obvious what will happen, but all in all, I didn't like the book. (
