All these mice think there is a fire in the other room because they can see it through the key hole in the door. They all prepare to put out the fire. When they open the door they realize it is a surprise birthday part and they just saw the candle. This has a lot of rhyming which would be fun for children and it is a good ending because fires can be scary to children and it was nice that it was not a house fire. I had mixed opinions in of this book. I liked the language of this book because it was an easy and catchy book to read. For example, the author makes the words rhyme with the characters in the book. The author wrote, “What Floor?” said Mrs. Moore.” Every page has a rhyming pattern which makes this book entertaining to read. However, I did not like how simplistic and that there was no message behind this book. This book is meant to be used for entertainment and enjoyment and not for teaching a lesson. This book is Contemporary Realistic Fiction. The events were believable and fun for children to read. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
In this version of the old rhyme the fire turns out to be the smoke from the candles of a birthday cake. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
