In this book, I especially loved the guilty looking moose eating a banana, and the menacing one-eyebrow effect. ( ![]() This book would be good for primary students who can read. It is a graphic novel. This book is about a squirrel who wants to stay up all night. Scaredy Squirrel wants to stay up all night and do all sorts of activities. He begins to feel sleepy and eventually falls asleep. This book talks about what you might feel like when you get no sleep or when you get good sleep. I might use this book when talking about sleep or the importance of a good night sleep. I would also allow children to read this book on their own time. It is cute and engaging for primary students. Excellent! The pictures are engaging, the language is "stretch language" (not too hard, but still boosts vocab), it gives the reader tactics to dealing with night fears while reinforcing that the fears are all in the child's mind. Squirrel is not wanting to fall asleep, and reaps the consequences. His hallucinations and confusion get the best of him when he believes that monsters will be haunting him. Luckily, he fell into one of his own traps and falls asleep after being exhausted. I believe that this story is great to show children just how important it is to have a good nights sleep. It may be fun to stay up late and play, but in the next day you'll be grumpy. Very relatable text for students, and with a favorite character. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
