It's about a Minister who finds himself lost in a situation due to greed and the value of money and items. When he tries to do the right thing he finds that all the wrong people are trying to take him down. A Christian book with a little bit of suspense to it. ( ) Assistant Pastor Anthony Murdock of 2nd Baptist church loves being a pastor. But he has a burning secret that he feels will force him to resign. No, it's not that he is having an affair, though that is the conclusion that his wife rapidly jumps too. Not that she is sorry to see him leave the church--she never understood why he left his lucrative business job in the first place. No, Anthony's problems stem back to his misplaced love of money and the actions it lead him too--actions that are now unfolding into a chain of events that may land him in jail for a crime he didn't commit. This was a fun read, but nothing too memorable or mind stretching. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
A fresh voice in African-American Christian fiction, Leslie J. Sherrod writes powerful tales of God's unwavering grace above the toils of a troubled man. Like Sheep Gone Astray posits a sweeping circumspection of one man's redemption. Focusing on executive success and pursuit of His abundance, minister Anthony Murdock withdraws from reconciling past sins. But now those sins threaten to destroy his success and harm his relationship with God. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
