I liked Weatherman so picked this up and was a bit disappointed. This is story of a Lindbergh baby kidnapping-90's style. I like the lead character, the unusual hero Rick Beanblossom, who has to wear a mask to cover his disfigured face. Using his reporter instincts and his military brawn, he does his best to find his and his ex-police wife's baby who is kidnapped during a Minnesotan blizzard. The plot was a bit convoluted and confusing. I enjoyed the reading the action of a chapter at a time, but had to work to hard to put it all together. Good character description on the villain(s). I truly hated him/her/them. ( )

This is one of the worst books I've listened to. Is it a satire???
The writing is terrible -if not worse. ( )
