Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Nice essay collection. To my pleasure, it was more on the culture of art than the nuts and bolts of it. If I had a nickel for every time Fujimura mentioned 9/11, though...I'd have a lot of money. ( ) Fujimura's writing will not turn heads like his painting, but he writes with honesty and depth. His essays, many dealing with post 9/11 thoughts from someone who lives only blocks from ground zero, are compelling looks at life from a New Yorker's perspective. Fujimura brings his faith to bear on the hard questions of the tragedies of life as well as the beauties that emerge when people reflect God's goodness to those around them. This short work is an encouragement for artists in all genres to create for God's glory, to create because the world needs to see creative genius in the midst of destruction, and to create because we were created to do so. This is a nice read for artists or anyone interested in the arts or how creativity can impact culture. The book is a series of short nonfiction pieces on different topics. Depending upon your stage in life, this book may have a more (or less) powerful impact on you, and each chapter may have a different level of impact because each is unique. The author makes some wonderful points and brings perspective to some of life's most painful moments and how art can be a part of the healing process. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
