Liked call of the wild much better, although I'm definitely too old to really enjoy this one. ( ) White Fang by: Jack London is an amazing book for all ages. I have read this book about four times and it never gets old. The detail the author puts into the book is great. Also, another great part of the book is the art. The pictures and drawings in White Fang are incredible. I feel that everyone should read this book because it is such a classic. White Fang is a book about a wolf and all he has to do to survive. It shows all the ups and downs of a young wolf. From birth he has to struggle to cling to life and he is the only one to survive his litter. He has to live through the brutality of not just nature but by mankind. Besides the bad treatment of White Fang he eventually finds the person that will take care of him. Although he was half dog and half wolf he showed the devotion of a full dog to his "love master." The real life actions of this book really coincide with the time period. The book shows the early settlements and actions that back then were not considered illegal or wrong. Actions such as dog fighting and abusive behavior to animals. Also, the trade between Native Americans and the new settlers are shown throughout the book by the relocation of White Fang from the wild to civilization. The book White Fang shows its reader the determination of a strong animal. It shows not only the true will to live and the courage of this animal but the faith that everything will eventually work out well for him. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
