With a Texan heroine named Tammy Jo and an ocelot named Mercutio for a side-kick, you know anything can happen, and it does. Good character development, intriguing plots, and great dialogue make this series a must-read. I'm anxious to read the next one! ( ![]() I love the characters wit and charm. Ms. Frost bring to life a light-hearted paranormal mystery/romance. She is on of my favorite writers because of the joy I feel when I read her work. Love the cat !!! Love this series so far! When I took this book out of the library I did not realize that it was part of a series. That being said, you really don't need to read the first book to follow the second one. All of the accidents from the prior novel are referred to in enough detail that you can get by without reading it. (I do still plan on eventually going back and reading the first one though.) There is lots of action, adventure and comedy in this book, but there is not really a lot of depth to it. This might be because of things I missed from the first book and things that are going to occur in the next book, though. Characters change however you don't really see them evolve; the changes just kind of happen. The characters all seem really interesting and I would really like to see more of their development and changes first hand. Also on a totally seperate note I love the cover art for this book and the previous one in the series. I hope they keep it up. "Barely Bewitched" is a fun ride. Forget about the plot, it's all over the place, like a hurried soccer mom with a long to-do list. The focus is on Frost's colorful characters and witty dialogue. Pertany a aquestes sèriesSouthern Witch (2)
Tammy Jo's misfiring magic has attracted the unwanted attention of WAM, the World Association of Magic. Now, a wand-wielding wizard and a menacing fire warlock have come to Duvall to train her for a dangerous mandatory challenge. When a curse leads to a toxic spill of pixie dust, the town comes unglued and the doors between the human and faery worlds begin to open. To rescue the town and to face the impossible magical test, Tammy needs the help of incredibly handsome Bryn Lyons, but WAM has declared him totally off-limits. To avoid deadly consequences, Tammy probably ought to follow the rules this time. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
