No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. 4/14/22 This was the first short story collection of Vonnegut's that I've read, and I really enjoyed it. I scored each story individually, and then averaged them to get a final rating of 4.32, which I'll round to 4 stars. The standouts in this collection are: - All the King's Horses - Ironically, one of the least characteristically Vonnegut stories here. The story of a Vietnam-era Colonel trying to keep his family alive in a deadly game of Chess against a sadistic warlord. - Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow - I'd actually read this one in high school 30 years ago, and it's one that I've thought of many times since then, although I didn't remember that it was Vonnegut. 200 years in the future, we're paying the price for advances in prolonging life expectancy. Welcome to the Monkey House by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. (1998) Kurt Vonnegut is the only author where, when I finish his books, I say "How neat." & "What was that" in equal measure.
